Talley Student Center at North Carolina State University
All high school grade levels are welcome to apply!

TYLC is designed to educate and motivate North Carolina high school students to create relevant, local change. Participants will leave TYLC better equipped to improve their communities through innovative leadership.
TYLC is put on by Triangle Youth Leadership Services (TYLS). Based out of N.C. State University, we are a completely student-led organization of current Park Scholars and ambitious Wolfpack undergraduates dedicated to community development in North Carolina through youth leadership and empowerment.
Some highlights of past year’s conferences include:
- Workshops presented by N.C. State students on tangible skills such as charismatic leadership, design thinking, harnessing your own personality, followership and other types of leadership, becoming legendary through professionalism and team dynamics.
- Real-life problem-solving challenges such as fish kills, homelessness, voter apathy, urban congestion, obesity and environmental degradation.
- Guest speakers and panelists from the N.C. State student body and local industries and organizations such the N.C. Legislature, the Krispy Kreme Challenge, Undercover Colors, SAS, and N.C. Special Olympics.
Please check in September 2016 for the TYLC8 Application!
